On the top floor of an Upper East Side building sits a sprawling apartment for a modern family. The family had specific requirements: lots of space to entertain along with plenty of room for play, combined with beautiful yet functional furnishings that could survive the wear and tear that comes with raising five young kids. In essence, the home really needed to perform for the chaos of city living.

Collaborating with Douglas Wright Architects, our team added thoughtful elements such as built-ins, durable materials, and plenty of seating for large gatherings. The home has many layers of handcrafted materials such as silk, wool, and linen for a truly elegant home that is also family-friendly.

We are enormously proud that this apartment was selected for the cover story of Luxe magazine in June of 2019.
