HARBOR

We closed on our Sag Harbor home in the Fall of 2020 and immediately embarked on a six-month renovation before relocating from Brooklyn to the Hamptons full-time in July of 2021. The home’s footprint stayed largely the same, but we replaced the windows, roof and siding, and completely transformed the interior design of the bathrooms and kitchen.

I’ve always been inspired by the indoor/outdoor living of my Southern California youth and became smitten with Australian-Modern architecture when I first visited Sydney in 2002. The house is - at least for the Hamptons -  relatively small at 2,500 square feet, but it sits on two acres of woods, so it feels more expansive.

As an interior designer, I applied what we call our “always list” to this project. A mix of vintage and new, custom and sculptural pieces, cool lighting, a mix of woods and textures, our love of ceramics, deep colors, and maker goods create the perfect backdrop to our modern family home.
